Yoga is much more than a physical practice. It’s a path to becoming a better human, embodying qualities like empathy, self-compassion, resilience, and mindfulness. Rooted in ancient wisdom, yoga guides you toward a more balanced and authentic life, helping you live with inspired intention and a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
In this transformative 200-hour yoga teacher training, we invite you to explore the depths of your heart and the power of compassion through vinyasa flow. With breath and movement as your guide, you’ll integrate yoga’s teachings with modern science, cultivating a deeper sense of connection, empathy, and purpose both on and off the mat.
On this journey, you’ll learn to transform self-judgment into self-love and acceptance while gaining the tools to create a nurturing, inclusive environment for your students. We’ll explore the philosophy of yoga, its ethical principles, and how they can guide you in living with balance and integrity in today’s world. By connecting to your true nature, you will align with the creative freedom to inspire and support others.
This deeply enriched program is open to all levels—whether you’re an aspiring teacher or a curious practitioner.

You will be guided by experienced and passionate yoga teachers, dedicated to helping you unlock your full potential as a teacher and individual.
Stacie Tappen, E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor + Somatic Practitioner
With over 11 years of teaching experience and 20 years in the wellness industry, Stacie brings a grounded and embodied approach to yoga, rooted in mindfulness, self-awareness, and compassion. Influenced by Kripalu yoga, her teaching invites students to move beyond performance and into a more honest, connected relationship with themselves.
After discovering yoga during a transformative time in her life, Stacie went on to complete advanced training in Bali with Julia McCabe. She has since expanded her work through advanced Yoga Nidra training and certification as a Mind-Body Coach specializing in somatics and nervous system healing.
Through Wild + Free Collective, Stacie leads yoga teacher trainings, retreats, and embodied healing experiences that support growth, freedom, and deeper self-trust. Her work blends ancient yogic wisdom with modern somatic practices to help students reconnect with themselves in meaningful and lasting ways.
Shelley Hoffos, E-RYT 850 Yoga Instructor + 300hr Breakwork Facilitator, Reiki Master + Wellness Coach
Shelley Hoffos is the proud owner of Rooted Heart Yoga and Art Studio. With a deep commitment to fostering strength and compassion, Shelley serves as a guiding light for her clients, helping them uncover their passion, purpose, and presence in life.
Her approach is rooted in dedication, intention, and a desire to create meaningful connections that lead to profound healing. Shelley empowers individuals to awaken to their radiant selves by embracing their unique bodies and experiences. Through her teachings, she cultivates vibrant compassion, self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love on the mat.

Upon completion, you will be eligible to register as a 200Hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

Location: Rooted Heart Yoga + Art Studio
Schedule: 6 weekends + online study
Dates: October 2-4, November 6-7, December 4-6, January 22-24, February 26-28, March 26-28
Times: Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays 9-6pm (may go to 8pm some weekends), Sundays 9-3pm
If you need to miss a training day, the session will be recorded and shared with you for make up. Please note that full attendance is required for certification. Recorded sessions are provided as a make-up option when necessary.
Max. 20 in person participants will be accepted into this training.
Investment:
Early Bird Rate: $3,150 + GST
Register by July 31 and save $300.
Full Investment: $3,450 + GST
Applies August 1 onward.
A non-refundable registration fee of $500 or 1st monthly payment is required to register for the training. If you cancel before August 1, 2026 only the deposit is forfeited. If you cancel after August 1, 2026 no refunds will be given.
For your convenience, a monthly payment plan is also available.
